New utensils for the grill

Morsø says bon appetite
Morsø has vouched for the provision of heating, first of dwellings and later of food, since 1853 – the year that saw the beginning of a new adventure that would make this Danish foundry into one of the front runners within the development of grills, ovens, and such appliances as will make the preparation of the raw materials even better, easier, and with tastier results. It is therefore with great pleasure that Morsø introduces new appliances such as a smoker box, a cast-iron grate and pan, and a fire divider.
Smoke
Smoked salmon, smoked aubergine, and smoked curd cheese. There is practically no limit to the food that can be smoked. And, introducing the BBQ Smoker Box, Morsø has made it an even greater pleasure to cook tasty and aromatic food of long durability.
The BBQ Smoker Box is shaped as a perforated bowl – it is a lightweight product that is modest in size in order not to take up too much space relative to the raw materials. The Morsø Smoker Box is positioned in the centre of the grill, filled with smoke pellets, and lit. A smoking time of about an hour will do.
Roast
Both the Tuscan Grill and the Tuscan Plancha are made of enamelled cast iron and a further development of the ordinary grate and frying pan. For the purpose of enabling the centring over the fire, they have been equipped with three legs and a rim to ensure that the food will remain on the grilling plate. Likewise, the sloping edge is adjusted to fit the ”Morsø handle”, thus facilitating the easy lifting and moving around of both frying pan and grate relative to the fire.
Eat
A few years back, Morsø launched the Forno – a multicultural oven which, for instance, facilitates the baking of pizzas over open fire – exquisite pizzas of perfect base, the crispest crusts, and topping of just the right temperature. Now, launching the Fire Divider – a small appliance preventing burnt crusts and ensuring the oven's division into a wood- and cooking zone – Morsø makes the distance between Denmark and Italy even shorter.
As of April, the four new products can be found at selected Morsø distributors and on morsoe.com.

More about Morsø
In 1853, the young N.A. Christensen quit his job as a bookkeeper to embark on an iron foundry adventure. An adventure, that took its beginning in a factory building in Nykøbing Mors. Despite tough competition from other foundries in other towns, the then small group of smiths, turners and joiners were destined to create an icon that would extend far beyond Morsø, the North Jutland town of origin. An icon, created through innovation and based on design construction, quality, and fine craftsmanship and which for this reason will always be a safe and secure feature in our homes – in Denmark and abroad. An icon that we all know by the name of Morsø.
