This, for instance, takes place in connection with quite ordinary website interactions, such as e.g. your subscription to our newsletter, participation in a competition/survey, registration as a new user/subscriber, in connection with the use of other services, or with purchases from our website.

We will typically collect and process information such as: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location, and which pages you click onto. To the extent that you, yourself, give your explicit consent and provide such information, we shall also process: Name, phone number, e-mail, address, and payment information. This will typically be in connection with your creation of a login or with purchases made on the page.

Security

In compliance with applicable law, comprising the general data protection regulation and the Danish data protection law, we will treat your personal data securely and confidentially.

Your data will solely be applied for the objective for which they will be collected, and they will be deleted when this objective has been met or is no longer relevant.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a user and show such advertisements as will be of most relevance to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to provide you with such services as you have requested – such as for instance the reception of newsletters. We moreover apply such information for the purposes of optimising and improving our services and content.

Period of retention

We retain your data for the period permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary or relevant. This period depends on the nature of the data and the reason for retention. Thus, it is not possible to give a general timeframe for the point in time when information will be deleted.

Disclosure of information

Data about your use of the website, the advertisements you receive and perhaps click on, geographical location, sex, and age segment, etc. will be passed on to third parties to the extent that such information is known, and provided that we use third parties. In the section on Cookies above, you can see the third parties that are involved. These data are applied in targeted advertising.

In addition, we cooperate with a number of third parties for data storage and processing. These third parties exclusively process data on our behalf and shall not be permitted to use them for own purposes.

Personally identifiable information

Personally identifiable information shall never be disclosed to any third party unless you have actively asked us to do so. One example could be “book an expert”, or when you request to be contacted by a Morsø retailer. Other than this, we never collect personally identifiable information, unless you have, yourself, shared such information with us – e.g. by your registration, newsletter subscription, signing up for an event or for participation in a survey, etc.

The passing on of personal information, such as name and e-mail, etc., shall solely take place on the provision that you, yourself, give your consent thereto. We solely apply data processing units within the EU or in countries capable of providing satisfactory protection of your data.

Insight and complaints

You are entitled to information about which of your personal data we process within an ordinary format (data portability). Further, you can, at all times, raise an objection against our application of this information. You can also revoke your consent to our use of information about you. If the information processed about you is false, you shall be entitled to require the correction or deletion thereof.
