Baked bananas with coconut ice cream

  • 4 bananas
  • 1 vanilla pod, halved and split into four pieces
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp dark rum
  • Coconut or vanilla ice cream

Split the bananas lengthwise and put them onto a Morsø cast-iron pan.

Sprinkle with sugar and vanilla

Distribute the butter in small lumps between the bananas and pour rum over the bananas.

Bake the bananas at a low temperature in your Morsø Forno Spin for about 3-4 minutes or till the bananas are soft and the sugar has melted into a delicious caramel sauce.

Server with a scoop of ice cream – Happy days!
