Danish rice pudding with oven baked plums and cherries
- 8 plums
- 1 glass of Amarena cherries
- 1 vanilla pod
- 3-4 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp of rum
Halve the plums and put them in an ovenproof dish.
Halve the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds. Mix them with the sugar and sprinkle the mixture over the plums.
Pour the rum over the plums and bake them in a hot Forno until they start to soften.
Add as many cherries as you like with a little of their syrup and bake for another 5 minutes.
If the sugar starts to burn, add a little water.
Serve with Danish rice pudding.
