- 2 cans skinned tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 1 pinch of chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Put olive oil and garlic into a saucepan and place it on the gas ring
Heat the oil at medium heat. Add chilli when the garlic begins to turn golden and then the tomatoes.
Add salt and pepper and leave the tomato sauce to simmer for 20-30 minutes. Sample the sauce and season with additional salt and pepper, as required.
