- 250 g of wheat flour
- 125 ml of lukewarm water
- 3.5 g of dried yeast
- 1 tsp. of honey
- 45 g butter, melted
- 3 tbsp. of Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp. of salt
Put the water, yeast and honey in a bowl. Mix well and leave for 5-10 minutes until it starts to bubble.
Add the flour, salt, yogurt, half of the butter and mix well. Knead the dough until it’s completely smooth, either with your hands or in a mixer.
Let the dough rise for an hour and a half until it’s raised to double its size. Knead down the dough and divide it into 6 portions. Roll the dough into small buns and leave them to rise for 30 minutes.
Roll out the naan breads into oval shapes. Bake them on a hot dry pan or on the grill. Brush with the remaining butter while they’re baking.
