Morsø 30 cm wok in the 79NORD range. This wok has a satiny finish both on the outside and inside, and the base is 6.1 mm thick. The handle is made of steel, and with its steel induction base, the wok can be used on all heat sources, as well as in the oven, up to 200 °C.

At the bottom of the wok is an aluminium core covered by stainless steel on both sides, with a magnetic outer layer; this is also called a sandwich base. The heat is distributed and retained evenly and energy-efficiently throughout the base and sides, and the material is lightweight. It is also very hygienic and easy to clean. The wok can be used on all heat sources, from traditional gas and electric hobs to glass ceramic and induction hobs. Dishwasher safe.
The 79NORD range is made from high-quality raw materials. The pots and pans have no coating, which means that the products can be recycled.
The kitchenware’s unique properties can last for decades with proper maintenance. Never use scouring powder or sharp objects that can damage the surface. We recommend cleaning with a brush and warm soapy water before the first use. Kitchen utensils of all materials can be used.

Frying in a steel pan
Frying in a stainless steel pan is different from frying in a coated pan, which is why many professional chefs prefer steel frying pans.
Add oil or butter to the pan and heat the pan over a medium heat. Spread the oil or butter over the entire frying surface of the pan and on the sides.
Raise the temperature slightly, place the food on the pan and adjust the heat to the desired cooking temperature.
At the beginning of cooking, it may look as if the food is burning onto the pan, but as soon as a crust is formed, the food can be moved around the pan and turned.
