Grilled pears with honey, cinnamon, and mascarpone créme
An easy, but totally delicious dessert.
Cut the pears in quarters and remove the seeds.
Grill the pears, so they have clear grill marks on both the flesh sides.
Melt the butter in an iron cast pan. Add the cinnamon stick, and vanilla pod and let it infuse for a minute. Add the pears and the honey and let the simmer, till you can easily pierce them with a knife.
Serve with some mascarpone crème.
Wisk the mascarpone with icing sugar and the vanilla seeds. Add the Marsala and continue wisking.
In a separate bowl, wisk the cream till you get soft peaks. Fold the cream into the mascarpone.
- 4 pears, Conference or similar.
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 vanilla pod
- 2 tbsp honey
- 50 g butter
- 200 g mascarpone
- ½ vanilla pod
- 50 g icing sugar
- 2 tbsp Marsala
- 150 g double cream
