Foresta pizzas-slicing board with grooves

This elegant pizza-slicing board with handles is made of oiled oak and can be used for multiple purposes. The grooves facilitate the slicing up of the pizza into slices of equal size. The board can also be used for serving cheese and tapas. Both sides can be used for slicing as well as serving. The diameter of the board is 35 cm. Never soak your slicing board. Wash in warm water and a mild soap. Is not dishwasher safe. It will be an advantage to subject the board to subsequent treatment with cooking oil once or twice a year. Design: Hans Sandgren Jakobsen. Foresta is the Italian term for forest, and the series takes its point of departure in oak as the general material. The carving boards of the series are designed by Hans Sandgren Jakobsen who is a trained cabinetmaker and, also, holds a degree in industrial design from Denmark’s Design School, now the Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, design, conservation. For one year, he was employed at a Japanese drawing office, whereupon he returned to Denmark and got a job at Nanna Ditzel’s drawing office. He has designed a wealth of elegant furniture and products for  interior decoration – all in Scandinavian style. Over the years, he has also been awarded an abundance of prestigious prizes.
