The lantern opens via the lid at the top, giving it a clean and simple appearance while avoiding rattling side doors. It is highly robust, crafted from heavy-gauge iron with thick glass, and the feet can be adjusted to ensure it stands level and stable while being slightly raised from the surface. A water drain is integrated in the base, and the black colour coating is suitable for all types of weather.
