Fish over campfire with lemon sauce

Recipe by: Maldon Salt
Serves: 4

Procedure

When you cook fish over a campfire, the fresh flavor takes on a whole new depth. Mackerel filled with lemon and dill is gently grilled so that juices and flavors are preserved, while the butter and tangy lemon sauce bring it all together into a clean, fresh experience. A simple dish that tastes like summer and sunshine.

Stuff the fish with lemon slices, dill, and a pinch of Maldon Salt.

Grill on a grate or wrapped in foil for 12–15 minutes.

Melt the butter, mix with lemon juice and a little salt – pour over the fish before serving.
